Facts:1993/94 Season: Newcastle United returned to the Premier League in sensational fashion under Kevin Keegan, finishing an impressive third in their first season back. Dubbed "The Entertainers," the team played exhilarating attacking football, with Andy Cole at the forefront, scoring a record-breaking 34 league goals. The dynamic midfield duo of Rob Lee and Peter Beardsley also shone as Newcastle became the league’s top scorers, thrilling fans with their fearless approach.

1994/95 Season: Expectations were high after the previous campaign, but Newcastle faced challenges, finishing 6th in the Premier League. Midseason, the club sold star striker Andy Cole to Manchester United, a controversial decision that sparked protests from fans. However, the emergence of young talents like Steve Watson and the signing of David Ginola in preparation for the following season highlighted Keegan’s vision for the team. Though less successful than the prior year, the groundwork was laid for Newcastle’s rise to title contenders.
