Facts: Between 1993 and 1995, Newcastle United, under the management of Kevin Keegan, transformed into one of England’s most exciting teams. After securing promotion to the Premier League in 1993, Newcastle quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Their attacking style, led by stars like Andy Cole and Peter Beardsley, earned them the nickname "The Entertainers." In their debut Premier League season (1993/94), Newcastle finished third, an incredible achievement for a newly promoted side. Cole’s goalscoring exploits were key, netting 34 league goals that season. However, in early 1995, Keegan made a shock decision to sell Cole to Manchester United, which caused controversy among fans but allowed Keegan to reshape the squad for the future.
